Dispatcher
Pacific States Petroleum, Inc. is an employee owned and operated on-site fueling company servicing California. We are looking for an extremely organized, efficient Dispatcher to join our Dispatch Team. Competitive pay, full benefits and vacation available.
Salary: $68,000-75,000
General Responsibilities
- Ensure maximum productivity by achieving or exceeding company-established goals by successfully routing vehicles
- Answering incoming emails and phone calls from our customers and account managers
- Dispatching orders to our drivers in an efficient and timely manner
- Maintaining digital database of customers and job specific information
- Creating routes for upcoming deliveries
- Communicating with customers about deliveries and requirements
- Other duties assigned by the Operations Manager and/or the Director of Operations
Requirements
- Detail oriented
- Multi-tasker, thrives on a challenge and working in a fast-paced environment
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Problem solver, highly focused, able to quickly think on their feet
- Basic computer and Microsoft Office skills and the ability to pick up new software quickly
- Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with customers, employees, vendors and management of all personalities
- Hands on, responsive, and very quick learner
Desirable Skills/Qualities/Qualifications
- Customer service experience required
- Previous dispatching experience helpful but not required
- Computer experience (MS Office) and the ability to learn new programs
- High School Diploma required, some college preferred
- Must be able to type at least 45 WPM
- Class A or B license a plus
